Rigworld Services is an upstream Oil and Gas Service Company, whose vision is to become a leading service provider with an impeccable record of excellence and efficiency in oil and gas service delivery to all our clients in Ghana and West Africa. Our goal is to provide offshore, onshore and near shore oil and gas services to E&P, drilling contractors and production companies in Ghana and West Africa.
Through teamwork, every level of our operations and activities yields results. We are an intermediary member of Trace which signifies the company’s commitment to transparency in International Commercial transactions.
How it all started
The beginning of our story
The Rigworld idea started while working as a drilling crew member on board the Atwood Hunter rig late 2010.
At the time, I knew very little about the oil and gas industry, and yet I had the desire to incorporate an indigenous logistics, oil and gas company that would become a local and international household name.
We started off as a small manning service provider operating within a small office in Osu, Greater Accra (Ghana) where we obtained our first regulator permits to operate within the sector from the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) in 2011.
Our first contract was to provide manning services and procurement services to Seadrill’s West Leo.

Our success
We received a lot of skepticism from the inception, but with focus and aggressive growth, Rigworld transformed from being a manning agency to what we are today. We have become a household name in Ghana and are currently registered with the Petroleum Commission who is now the regulator.
Rigworld has diversified to capture a wider range of services amidst the formation of several Joint Ventures with foreign companies operating in Ghana. Steadily, our global presence is becoming very imminent.
